tmnt

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Playmates are re-releasing the original 1988 action figures – seemingly unchanged – in a successful attempt to blow nostalgia into the underwear of 80′s kids everywhere.

At first I thought they were just re-releasing the four turtles, but it would appear that they’re re-releasing the entire line – vehicles (and possibly playsets?) included.

Each figure also comes packaged with a DVD containing an episode of the original 80′s cartoon.

If it weren’t for my strict “Kubrick Only” policy when it comes to toy collecting, id be all over these in a heartbeat.

now panic and freak out print

Artist Olly Moss has created a great parody of the iconic “Keep Calm and Carry On” poster which I had to have. I have no idea where I’m going to place all these prints/posters – but I will one day – and it will be glorious. Thanks Soph for letting me wield your credit card. No thanks threadless for not accepting paypal.

portal gun costume 1\

“A portal gun my boyfriend made for my Aperture Science Test Subject costume.

It lights up both blue and orange along the tube, in the barrel, and in the “indicator light” on top. The light switch is a two-way toggle in the back by the handle. It’s 22″ long including the prongs and weighs about 15 lbs.”

hangup

I’ve been wanting to pick up one of these arcade stick coat hooks since they were announced a few months back. Now that they’ve finally been released (and for a very reasonable price I might add) I decided to order one. I went for the combination pictured above, but they’re also available in various other colours via Surface Tension.
